The button to download data to the desktop is not available and so I could not use it to prepare an SSG in SA.

Is anyone else having this problem?

If you can click on the data tab, you should see the button mid-screen.

Working just fine in Safari. Not like that means anything, but still. Firefox also working just fine.

http://www.stockcentral.com/data/tabid/55/Default.aspx says (last paragraph) "use the box and button below to download SSG data files".  The "box and button" is really "above".  Is that the problem, Marv?

Does that mean we can change the icon to a smiley now?

I guess you could if you want to. I peronally wouldn't want to see a smiley until I can simply type in the ticker and click Go from within SA though. Any estimate as to when SA might be updated to automatically retrieve data from the Data Service?

Frankly, I don't see how this new data is of any benefit to SA users. Downloading a SSG is not updating an already completed SSG that already has judgements in place. No smiley face here, sorry.
I would also like to ask SA users if anyone is experiencing my on going problem with quarterly data not entering into the correct quarter, which I've tried to get help from Tech support, but so far no help there. This is my last response to them: I downloaded a BK ssg from StockCentral (as they suggested to see if it was a data problem), it did not update my data, but created a whole new ssg with the quarterly info on the correct lines, but wiped out my judgments. So, I entered my judgments and saved it as a copy. I reopened it and clicked update it was okay. But then I click update data again and the quarterly information dropped down a line and left the Q4 FY 2001 (Dec 2001) lines blank and dropped all the quarters down one line, so I now have the Q3 FY 2006 (Sept 2006) information posted into the Q4 FY 2006 (Dec 2006) line. I can delete my ssg with the OPS data and create it again with the OPS data and the OPS quarterly data is in the correct place. If I then go back and update it more than once, it will then drop the quarterly data down a line, leaving the very first quarter blank. It either does that or duplicates the last quarter into the next quarter's line. I think this is a software problem, but I can't tell anything from the StockCentral data, since their data doesn't really update (overwrite) the data, it just gives me a whole new ssg minus my judgments.
I'm getting frustrated here. I have to be able to update my companies, somehow, without losing all my judgments!
