This morning I accepted the update to install TK6.0.2. The installation seemed to install properly. After the installation of 6.0.2 when trying to update prices I recive a message that says Please establish and Internet connection. I do have an internet connection established. Also when trying to download a new company from IClub this is loaded properly.
Has anyone else experienced this situation and know of any way around it? Is there a way to uninstall 6.0.2?

I don't have any problem with downloading data or prices after installing the update. My first thought is that it's just a coincidence -- we haven't had any other reports of problems and price updating works fine on all the other computers here. Perhaps your firewall has noted that the program has changed and is blocking the Toolkit application? That sometimes happens after updates.

It was the Windows Live One Care Firewall. I had Toolkit 6.0.0.1 allowed but I had to manually add Toolkit 6.0.0.2. It now works fine
Thanks for the guidance.

I've having intermittent problems with Toolkit 6.0
When I attempt to load a company from the online subscription,
or attempt to run a portfolio analysis,
or import an SSG downloaded from Stock Central...
I get an error message displayed and the Toolkit 6 program aborts/crashes.
A screen-shot of the error message is attached. |

Looks like a problem with the VB6 run-time files. You can download and reinstall them from the Microsoft web site here:

If that doesn't work, let us know.

Just did the 6.02 update no problems surfaced. I use XP Home, IE 7, Norton protection software.
