Investor Education at Its Best
August 8–10, 2008
InvestEd: The Highway to Investor Education
InvestEd is long-term investing education at its best, and it’s coming to cosmopolitan Charlotte, North Carolina, August 8-10, 2008, at the Hilton Charlotte University Place Hotel. This event continues the tradition of stellar national events for investors using computers and electronic communications
InvestEd elves are building a new green information highway devoted to world-class investor education at a reasonable price. The cyber engineers of the new color-of-money highway booted up their computers, hunkered down, and drew up the plans. Al Gore isn’t on the design team, but green cyber highway bloggers indicate that he is likely to endorse the plans if he attends InvestEd 2008.

The InvestEd elves dug the foundation, installed the pilings, and laid the concrete in time for the first section of the InvestEd highway to open in 2007 at Costa Mesa, California. The success of the first interchange in Costa Mesa prompted the elves to construct another interchange in Charlotte, North Carolina, the gateway to the South. Plans to open one interchange every year are on the virtual drafting board.
Interchanges are the key to this unique investor education highway. They are sites where important investor concepts, asset building blocks, and practical application tip transfers take place. Add a developer-staffed computer lab to test drive investor software such as Toolkit, Stock Analyst, and Portfolio Manager, the coveted Cyber Cafe, and you have an enriching investor destination second to none.
We tethered our all-volunteer construction crew to their computers to develop new sessions, and recruit the finest instructors in the U.S.A. The Saturday and Sunday general session schedule offers 66 sessions, and 32 of them are new. If this is your first trip down the investor education highway, take advantage of the Newbie Program. The Leadership Training infrastructure scheduled for Friday afternoon has three support columns―one of them teaches how to build and maintain investment clubs.
Take the opportunity to expand your investor education in a meaningful yet understandable way. No speeding here with tracks devoted to various levels of investor achievement. Travelers with all levels of experience sit with delight in the big tent alongside others who don’t mind a little bit of speed when they go through an interchange.
Join us at the Charlotte, North Carolina, interchange on August 8-10, 2008 and reap the benefits of your trip to InvestEd. Volunteers for the community-supported investor education highway are planning a multi-faceted itinerary, and we invite you to participate in the fun! Register now.
