Hemscott and Take Stock are identical with -0- as the 2002 income tax rate and -1391.9 as the 2002 net profit.

S&PSDS (old OPS) and Value Line are almost the same with 30.2% (VL)/30.7% (OPS) as the 2002 income tax rate and 1599.9 M/1511.1 M as the 2002 net profit.

In a footnote, VL explains that it excluded a non-recurring loss of $2.60 from EPS in 2002.

What's more interesting, I think, is that AMGN was a SSG BUY with Hemscott data and a Close-but-Don't-Buy with OPS data when I used the same judgments and price back in January, after Guru Ralph picked AMGN for his challenge portfolio.

Armin,

Thanks for that explanation.  I'll look for the footnotes next time I see something like 0 income tax rate.
