Sales of Toolkit 6 ended September 30, 2021. Support for Toolkit 6 and data subscriptions from both StockCentral and BetterInvesting for Toolkit 6 will continue. As someone who started doing the SSG by hand, I was so glad to use Toolkit when it first became available. Even with hand entering the data in the early versions, Toolkit made completing the SSG much faster. When data downloads were added to Toolkit, the data entry tedium was removed. A Toolkit user could then concentrate on the judgement items. More stocks became available for analysis because an SSG could be finished so much faster. The new BetterInvesting online SSG tools are very nice. I have made the transition to doing most of my SSGs online. However, I'll always have a soft spot for Toolkit. Thanks Toolkit for making the SSG easy and quick. Russell Malley

Is the data feed down this morning?
When I try to import data into Toolkit 6 it says "File appears to be an invalid format". Thanks.

My data feed was working at 10:15 AM Pacific Time today. I double checked I was using the feed from StockCentral and I was. So your issue is not a general "data is down problem". We have received a few other reports of data download problems since the announcement that sales of ToolKit stopped. Sean has been checking those. I'll let Sean know you are having a problem also. Thanks, Roger This is usually indicative of an internet security program that is interfering with the file download. You can test this by turning off any program like Norton and see if the download works properly. To fix the problem, you would create a rule in the security program that allows TK6 to contact the internet and download files.
