After the sale of its internet operating business to Verizon, Yahoo changed its name and ticker symbol. The company is now Altaba and uses the ticker symbol AABA. Altaba is an investment holding company. It holds the shares of Alibaba and Yahoo Japan owned by Yahoo.
Here are instructions for making the changes in the accounting software.
In Club Accounting 3 open the Yahoo security profile by clicking Securities and then Yahoo from the securities list. Change the name to Altaba and ticker symbol to AABA for that profile. Your entire Yahoo history will now appear under Altaba after the name change.
For Myiclub.com, click the more link under Securities. Choose Security Settings. Click the pencil icon next to the Yahoo name. Change the name to Altaba and ticker to AABA.
