Trying to re size screens in toolkit 6 but after I change the size of the screen (drag and drop)and go to another screen to re size it then go back to the original screen it is back like is was. I have some screens set at 83% view and some set at 100% view, because I split the screen and that is what fits when I have two screen up on the same monitor. Is there and way to re size the screens so they stay set at what you re size them too or is this a programming problem that might be change in a upgrade?

Hi,

Just to make sure, are you seeing the size of the Window on the screen change, or do you mean that the % size drop down menu is the part that changes?
Also, are you seeing the change happen during a single session of using Toolkit, or do you mean that it's re-setting each time that you close, and then re-open Toolkit?

If it's re-setting each time that you re-open Toolkit, that's something you can actually tinker with, if you don't mind doing a bit of digging.
There is a file, tk.ini that lives in the Toolkit6 folder (most commonly in C:\Program Files (x86)\ICLUBcentral\Toolkit6 ) which has a lot of the settings that Toolkit uses, including both the default window sizes, and the zoom levels for several of the reports.

Changing the settings in that file are definitely in the *not supported* category, so if you are inclined to tinker a bit, you should absolutely make a backup of the file first. That said, if you want to change the default settings for window size and zoom on things like the SSG, this will be the best way to do so.

If I have the % size changed to say 83% then I re seize the the screen by drag and drop to fit the screen I need on a half screen. Then I go to another screen to change it and go back to the first screen that I changed it is back to where it was before I made the changes. If I set the screen and close toolkit and reopen toolkit the screen is back to the way is was before I made the changes. The Screen I have the most problem is the Quarterly Trend Analyst. If the date on the screen is full the bottom of the screen will hide the data. I get the left to right bar and the up to down bar. If I pull the screen down below the ABC line them the up down bar goes away and you can see the data on the right side but a soon as I go out of the screen the back in. It changes back the the the way is was before I made any changes.

Hi,

I may be getting lost in a couple of places here. Let me see if I'm following the steps.
Open Toolkit, and re-size so it takes up a portion of the screen.
Open a Stock Study, and use the drop-down percentage menu to set to something specific, other than whatever the stock opened with.
Re-size the Stock study window the so it takes up a specific portion of the Toolkit window.
Use the Select View menu to go to anther page in the stock study, such as the Quarterly trend analysis.
This step I'm unclear on. You mention "I go to another screen to change it". I'm not sure if you mean changing the data, the size of the window, or the view percentage, so I've tried all three. I made some changes to quarterly data, re-sized the physical window, and changed the view percentage.
I then went back to the Select View menu, and chose the front page of the stock study. Doing this automatically resized the physical window on screen, and changed the percentage number back to what I had set them to when I first opened the Stock Study.

If those aren't the steps you take, I'd ask you to try navigating that way.

Alternately, if I'm missing what seems like an important difference between what you're doing, and what I've described, let me know.
