Hi Joe!  I'm back!  It's been a LONG 2 months--working 12-15 hour days, but now that my whirlwind schedule is under control, I hope to spend some time here.  I see subtle changes in my absence.  Very nice.

I started by checking the "email me" box for all the basic forums.  I think it will be very helpful to have these messages coming into my inbox.  Do I understand correctly that I cannot reply to them?  I guess I'll find out!

My plan is to provide some updates on individual stock boards when I listen to conference calls.  That's it for now.

Who's paying attention here!  Speak to me!

Welcome back, Lynn!

We're getting close to "going public" with StockCentral.  We appreciate your (and others) participating and helping us get things together.  Look for some cool new stuff in a few days ...

That's what I've done!

For the "basic" forums, it will be possible to reply to messages via email.  I had that working for a while, made a few changes, and need to get it going again ...

My plan is to provide some updates on individual stock boards when I listen to conference calls.

That will be great!  Also, please upload your SSG files.  When we get a good collection, we can start to generate some "consensus" analyses.

Joe I didn't see a forum for CAT. Can that be added? Is that done by staff only, or can members add the stock forums? If so how? I was also looking at adding STP and DRE for now. Thanks
PS Nice addition to the page with Take Stock tab. will that be part of the $33 per year?

Danny,

I added the three forums for you. Now, how about you putting a seeder message in each of them?

As for the other thing, you saw that because I made a mistake. Otherwise, no comment!

Joe I put the seeder message in CAT, DRE and STP is that what you wanted? Added ITK files using sds until hemscott files are current. I'm still getting screen jumps when typing hthese messages and at the bottom of the screen it says "searcing for links that begin with ", [press f3 to jump to the next match] [presss \to search for all text]. this changes while I'm typing of course. Plus the tab listing  under community stays open while typing

Perfect!  Hopefully some people will begin to interact on some of these and we can have some discussion/argument/agreement, etc.

But for now, you're the winner of the StockCentral "Daily Attaboy" (tm)

Againk thanks!  By the way, we should have current data files and regular updates starting ... REAL SOON NOW!   Keep your eyes open.

This seems to me to be your browser trying to do a search within the page.  Make sure that you've got your cursor in the data entry box before you start typing.

In firefox, if you start typing on any old spot on the page, it will start searching for that text on the page.  And, a search window will appear at the bottom.  It would seem as though your browser is doing something similar.

Is there a way to remove an attachment? Like the ITK file I put in the seeder message or do they stay forever? Didn't see it in the edit function.

Just checked out the ssg's, and on my Mac, the ssg quickly downloaded to my desktop, and I easily dragged it onto Churr SIG software; PERFECT!!!

I am not sure where to post what in general with the msg boards.

Can't wait til iclub and 1club move over here!

Congrats! Etana

I am not sure where to post what in general with the msg boards.

For stock discussions, we have a set of forums that are organized by ticker symbol.  In other words, there is a forum for each ticker (well, several hundred of them at this point in time).

So, if you want to post about Lowes, go to the LOW forum.

We also want to encourage people to share the details of their stock studies.  When you post a comment, please also attach your SSG or ITK file to the message ... if you've got one.

PDF files are great!   They'll let people see your SSG or other information.

But, if you'll also attach and SSG or ITK file, we can grab your judgments out of that, combine it with others' judgments, and create a consensus analysis.

Do both!
