We've had a few questions lately on what can or can't be done with the various tablet computers on the market these days, especially with Microsoft rolling out updated versions of their Surface tablets. With that in mind, I wanted to make a general post about what is and isn't possible on tablets with regards to ICLUBcentral software and services.
There are three primary types of tablet computers on the market at this time; iPad, Android and Surface.
At this time, iPads and Android tablets can only use our web-based services such as myICLUB.com, StockCentral.com, MyStockProspector.com, MyStockPortfolio.com, and the newsletters; Investor Advisory Service and Small Cap Informer.
Microsoft makes two different varieties of tablet computers however; the Surface (sometimes called Surface RT), and the Surface Pro.
The regular Surface sells for anywhere between three and five hundred dollars, and runs a very stripped down copy of Windows named Windows RT.
Similar to an iPad, the regular Surface tablet can only use our web-based services such as myICLUB.com , StockCentral.com , MyStockProspector.com , MyStockPortfolio.com , and the newsletters; Investor Advisory Service and Small Cap Informer.
The Surface Pro however, sells for anywhere between eight and nine hundred dollars, and can run a full version of Windows 8. This means that in addition to the web-based services, the Surface Pro can also run Toolkit 6, Club Accounting 3, and Stock Analyst.
