Using TK6 Offense/Defense for Watchlist Screening
|
Hi Doug,
I have a watchlist of about 10-12 stocks that have passed my quality screening and have a completed SSG. I use TK6's portfolio tool to assess these watchlist stocks from an OFFENSE and DEFENSE perspective as if I already own them. Those stocks that appear on the DEFENSE list I treat as a flag: either reassess my SSG judgments or drop from the active watchlist. Those that appear on the OFFENSE list I tend to keep since it's [just?] the current price that's keeping it from being a good buy right now. Those that are not on either list are "keepers" just waiting for a target price that meets both my minimum acceptable rate of return and the tolerable risk level.
Am I misusing this tool? Misinterpreting the signals its sending?
Thank you for your help.
