I recently downloaded Toolkit 6. I've completed a stock study on a dozen stocks. I tried to run a Stock Comparison on 5 stocks. I got a "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" message in a pop-up box. When I closed the box, Toolkit 6 closed. What is this error? How do I fix it?

Usually this is caused when Toolkit enounters unexpected data in a stock study, such as a space or letter or symbol where only a number is allowed, or when the program enounters a "divide by zero" error where a 0 or empty field in the denominator causes a division errror. I would start out with a Comparison with two only companies and then add one company at a time until you get the error in one of the companies. Then, delete that company from your library and redownload or re-enter the data.

If you are entering data by hand, do not enter commas or dollar signs into the fields, and be careful not to include any spaces in any numeric fields.
