In the next version of TK - 6.4.4 or TK - 7.0 - I like to see the changes listed below. Chime in if you agree or disagree

1. a few basic word processing functions in the Notes: bold, underline and italics. I make note of the date, stock price and buy/hold/sell status in my notes any time I update a stock study. In other wordsI create an ongoing "story" of my view of the stock. A few word processing function would help to separate points and show emphasize. It would also be really neat to have an option for the notes to automatically start with the date, the current price and the stocks status - but I'd settle for a few word processing functions

2. the ability to change from the from to the back to the front of the ssg without closing the note window.

3. I like to test the sensitivity of different growth rates to the forecast price range. Currently the forecast P/E and EPS may be contolled from side two of the SSG, but to change the growth rate you have to go back to side one. Why not have all three components available to change on side two [assuming you are not using the preferred method] or the ability to have side one and side two at the same time. The latter would seem to be easier to program and accomplish the same thing.

4. the ability to combine portfolios for purposes of reporting. I have various portfolios, such as several watch lists as well as varios portfolio that reflect actual holdings. There are times that I would like to group them and get ONE report, rather than a separate report for each portfolio.

5. Change the order of manual data entry on the Quarterly screen. EPS is out of the typical order of an earnings release. EPS should be the last entry, not the second entry.

6. When adding a stock to an existing portfolio, instead of scrolling to find the stock, ADD a search function. I have a large stock library and it is very inconvenient to scroll to find the stock I want to add

7. add buy/hold/sell recommendation to the Portfolio Review Report

8. Why isn't free cash flow available on the stock study chart on a quarterly basis - would the data feed allow this to be added?

I'll make a note of these and see what we can do in future releases.

Thanks!

Jeff,

For wish #6, if you enter the first letter of the stock symbol you will have less scrolling to do. Not as good as a search. but saves a bit of time!

Thank you. I did not know that feature existed. It goes a long way toward providing what I wanted.

I had another thought - rather than closing the stock study and then going through the process of adding the stock to a portfolio, why not do the following. When you close the study and click on save the changes, add a button that says "Do you want to add this study to an existing portfolio". If yes, then present a list of the user defined portfolios and allow the stock to be added to the portfolio selected.

Did you know that you can right click on a company name in the Library and one of the options is to add to the selected portfolio? If you're working with a company, that might be more convenient than some of the other options for adding companies to portfolios.
