Hi,

It would be nice to have a link to email forum posters individually instead of responding to everyone and without having the author post his/her email.

Thanks,
Josh

Josh,

I think this can already be accomplished (somebody please correct me if i'm wrong!). If you click on the person's name next to their post (their name should be highlighted), you should be directed to their info page, where there is a link that says "send an email". Click on that and you should be able to email that person directly. I've used this option before and it's worked for me.

But, when possible, we do encourage SC members to reply to the forum at large, so that everyone can benefit and join in on the exchange!

Amy

Thanks for responding Amy,
Unless I'm doing something wrong (and I tried on 2 different browsers, multiple forums and authors), I cannot click on the person's name (or picture) to get to their info page. I can get to my "My Profile" page via a link in the forums, but cannot see anyone else's profile. I understand the desire to have everyone post to the forum and welcome people to email me from this community, but would like to send my email address to someone and prefer not broadcasting it on the forum.

Thanks,
Josh

I think Amy sees the profiles because she is a site administrator. We'll see about turning on that feature for all members.
