THE MEET 'EM IN ST. LOUIS EDITION 18 February 2010

THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SNOW BUSINESS . . .
Company Transforms Vancouver into Winter Wonderland

After some careful shoveling, er, digging, your diligent reporter has learned that not even the residents of the most arctic Vancouver can guarantee the snow fairies will sprinkle the fluffy white stuff with perfect timing. Enter Snow Business, a company that began as an operation small enough to fit on the founder's kitchen table — transformed into a global operation over the past quarter century.

Though the Olympians prefer to compete on the real stuff, its biodegradable twin not only fills in the landscape, but it's perfect for an impromptu snowball fight. And it's a huge improvement from the days when painted cornflakes rained down upon wintry Hollywood sets. Unless she's been snowed, Snow Business is not a publicly traded company . . . at least, not yet . . .

How about StockCentral's savvy investors? Any companies out there that members hope are headed toward an IPO? Skate on over to the SC Forum and enlighten your cohorts.

On to this week's headlines . . .

MEET 'EM IN ST. LOUIS . . .
BINC 2010 to Feature S&P Strategist, Portable Classes

Variety is indeed the spice of life — not to mention, a successful portfolio strategy. And it's exactly what you'll find at the BetterInvesting National Convention (BINC) in St. Louis June 10-13. Your resourceful reporter has learned from the most clandestine of sources that the 2010 BINC will offer variety not only in topic, but in class format as well! Attendees can choose from more than 100 full-length classes from the Beginning Stock Selection Guide to the more advanced Debt-to-Equity and Discounted Cash Flow. Other not-to-miss classes include:

* Portfolio Management
* The Pharmaceutical Industry — What Gives?
* Investing in Inflationary Times

The 2010 BINC will also offer 18 short (and portable!) Classes To Go — 15 minutes presentations you can take back to your clubs.

Just when your trusty reporter thought it was a wrap, she learned to her delight that BINC 2010 has yet another rabbit or two up its sleeve. Saturday will be an opportunity to take in not only top-notch classes, but short corporate presentations, Town Hall Meetings with BI management and (drum roll, please . . .) presentations by Sam Stovall, Chief Investment Strategist, Standard & Poor's Equity Research. Mr. Stovall will teach two classes: "Sector Investing" and "Using Standard & Poor's for Investing". Don't miss this exceptional opportunity to hear from this well-known sector specialist (your reporter wouldn't hear of it!).

In the midst of a volatile market, what better way to gain perspective and insight than alongside your fellow long-term investors at the 2010 BINC? Meet 'em in St. Louis this June!

A MARVEL OF A MERGER
Wondering How to Handle it in CA3? Wonder No More!

"Wondering if anyone can help me on how to correctly enter the Marvel/Disney merger in CA3," SC Member Mark Singer posted on the SC Forum.

Wonder no more, Mark! ICLUBcentral Support Sean Pulrang to the rescue! "Your timing is really good on this one," Sean replied. "We've got one of our folks working on this merger."

Sure enough, they did. A little tech magic, a sprinkle of pixie dust and it was a done deal. "Just a quick note to let folks know that the Marvel/Disney merger (info) is up on our site . . ." Sean posted. For more detailed info, including step-by-step instructions, visit The Infirmary. Your trusty reporter promises it won't hurt a bit.

UNDER ONE ROOF
StockCentral Houses, Introduces Top-Notch Tools

Your skeptical reporter must admit that the techies have been hard at work, indeed. In addition to their timely posting of the Marvel/Disney merger info, SC members can now view the Roster of Quality Companies under the SC Data tab — with information updated weekly to boot. The site also features the newly unveiled Portfolio Tracker. Stay tuned for details in the coming weeks on this tool's cutting-edge enhancements.

And finally, your reporter would be remiss should she fail to remind her loyal readers that the time to purchase the 2009 Federal and State Club Tax Printer software for both Club Accounting 3.2 and myiclub is now. These forms can be used to prepare and submit your club's Federal tax returns, as well as for clubs in 14 states.

Club Accounting 3.2 Tax Printers can be purchased as either an online download or as a pressed CD. Tax Printers for myiclub will be accessible under the Taxes tab on your myiclub.com website following purchase.

It's all there . . . and right at your fingertips . . .

TODAY'S ENTIRELY RELEVANT QUOTATION
