Recently after a company issues its quarterly earnings report I have manually gone into the Data Quarterly area and Manually added the new 3rd quarter and the 3Q data. After doing this the Update Company Data panel shows this company along with a date on the right showing 12/31/2008 and shows Update Data in red on the Home Page. This does not seem to be working as I had thought it should. I had not thought this should cause the Update Data to turn red nor the date changed to the next fiscal quarter.
Is there any place to find the date of the last company update within TK6?
Can anyone explain what I may be doing wrong or how TK 6 should be handling the manual addition of the most recent quarterly data?

The same issue is happening in my TK6. In my portfolio there are four companies, COH, GILD, ROP and Wag that are suggesting the data be updated each time I open TK6. The right column showing the quarter and date in the future. What is causing this?
