PDF and email function do not work on Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Explorer, the PDF works on Firefox but the email comes up and I try to send it to me but I never receive it in my inbox.

Hello!

Thanks for posting. That is really unusual. I tried with Explorer, Chrome, and Edge this morning, and didn't run into any trouble. One of our other folks did have some trouble with Chrome though, so our engineer will take another look in to the PDFs.

Just to check, are you going in to Take Stock, entering in a ticker, and immediately going to the Front page of the SSG, or do you make adjustments first?

If you normally make adjustments, could you try the PDF button on a new stock, before you make any adjustments, to see if that changes what happens?

Thanks,
Sean

I log in using Chrome and click on Take Stock enter the stock symbol, click on TSSW form Back and click on the PDF and nothing happens. I click on Email Study and nothing happens. When I bring up Firefox I sign in to StockCentral click on Take Stock, add the stock symbol, click on TSSW Form Back and Click on PDF and it works and bring up a page to ask me how I want to open with Adobe or Save File. When I click on the Email Study It brings up a page and asked me to enter an email address and Please find a link to my study attached. I enter my email address and I copy the www.stockcentral stock link page that I have brought up and past it to the Body and click OK. It brings up a page that says the email field is in incorret format.
When I try to sign onto Microsoft Edge I put in my user name and password and it will not let me sign on. I get sent back to the login page. With Microsoft Explorer when I click on Email study I bring up a page to put my email address in and Body but when I ckick on ok it says Email field is in incorrect format. When I click in the PDF it works and ask me if I want to open it or save it.

Hi,

When it comes to the emailing a study, could you try taking a screen shot of what you would usually fill in on that window, and then send me a copy?
You can send a copy to my sean-@-iclub.com (remove the dashes, before sending), if you don't want to post a screenshot here with your email address in it.

Thanks,
Sean

I went to Firefox and sent an email to you Sean sean@iclub.com and copied the Screenshot TSSW Back to the Body. Firefox is the only one that will let me do the email. but when I have sent to me it never shows up in my inbox. I noticed that after I click on the OK button an the email screen goes away but if I click on the email study again all the info is still in the email box. Like it was never sent. I sent you an email from my outlook account also.

I did a test with the Email Study link this morning, and had it send to both your email, and mine.
The automated email came to my inbox a minute or two after I clicked the OK button to send it.

When I click the Email Study link again, it does automatically fill in both of our email addresses again, so I think that's just a matter of the way it was written, not an indication of whether anything was sent.

If you don't see the email show up some time in the morning, do me a favor and just double-check any Spam or junk mail filters in your email program. maybe there's something about the email that's triggering the program to filter them as junk or spam mail automatically.

Thanks,
Sean

Sean, I only received the email you sent to my outlook account. I responded to you from my outlook account but I did not see anything in my Yahoo account inbox, spam, or junk mail.

Hi,

That may not be a problem then. I only sent the study to the charter.net email address.
If you want, send an email to my sean@iclub.com email, from your Yahoo account. Once I get that, I'll try sending a study to all three accounts: my own iclub.com account, and both your Charter and Yahoo! email addresses.

Thanks,
Sean

Hi,

I just did a test, sending to both of our Yahoo accounts, as well as your Charter account, and my regular iclub.com email.

Also, just to double-check, if you're pasting a link into the box before sending, you shouldn't need to do that. The site creates a link that it automatically includes when the email goes out.

But if I am bring up my yahoo or my charter email I have to copy and paste to send it out the link? If I was in Stock Central and sending out and email would it automatically pick up that link to send the page? I could not get the email function to work with Chrome, Explorer, Edge, or Firefox. I can only get the PDF to work with Firefox. I received your email at charter and Yahoo.

Hi,

Going into Yahoo would normally be the last step, and would only happen after you used the Email Study link, put in the email addresses of people you wanted to have the study sent to, and then clicked the OK button.

If you could, try using the page sometime today, while using the Chrome browser. In the email box, put in our Yahoo email addresses. Don't worry about filling anything in to the Body part. Once the two email addresses are entered, just click OK. I'll keep my spulrang @ Yahoo email open today, and check in occasionally, to see if anything arrives.

Thanks,
Sean

Ok, thank you for checking.

I know I received at least one study from you, through the Email link, this past Friday at about 3:30 in the afternoon. Was that Through Firefox, or one of the other browsers?

Also, for the other browsers (besides Chrome) you tried, were they behaving the same way, where clicking the Email Study tab didn't even bring up a new window, or did they do something different?

Thanks,
Sean

I sent my email through yahoo and charter not Stock Central. Firefox is the only browser that will let me click on the email study and it will bring up a window for me to add the email address and the body to add information but when I click on it will not send. It will go away and if I click back on email study the information I inserted is still there.

The email address staying in the email box doesn't mean that nothing went out, it just means that the site saves whatever the last thing was that got typed into the Email, and the 'Body' boxes.

I received two emails last Friday, the 23rd. Both had info@iclub.com as the 'From' address, so they were sent from the TakeStock page while signed in with your StockCentral account.

Got PDF to work with Chrome. Tried to use the Email Study to send an email of the study. However the email study would come up which it had not before and I filled in my email address and the link to the study in the Body when I click on OK it gave me an message that the email address was empty. I brought up a second tab of Stock Central and pulled up a TWWS stock study and clicked on the email link and filled in the fields and clicked and ok and the email did send the study to my email address. I do not know why it would not work on the first tab in Chrome but it worked on the second tab I brought up in Chrome? When I go back to the First tab and click on email study and put my email address in the message is www.stockcentral.com says. email field is in correct format. Them there is a box to check and the message says Prevent this page from creating additional dialog. What does that mean?

When we see the 'invalid format' here, it means that there was an extra space at the beginning or the end of the email address. If can also happen if you enter more than one email address, and put in a space between them.
The 'Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs' comes from the Chrome browser itself. Generally I would suggest to leave that blank, unless you're seeing pop-up ad windows.

What about having to bring up a second tab to get the email function to work?
