I know someone thought they had a good idea when they changed the Quarterly Data input screen to only have Sale and EPS. However, It is causing me more problems in that now when I want to update a company when the quarterly report comes out I have to input the Sales and EPS data on the Quarterly Data Screen then go to the Quarterly Trend report and input the Pretax income and Tax. I like Toolkit because of the user friendly nature built into it. However this is not user friendly.

If you do decide to change it back to the more user friendly screen. I would like to see it in the order that the Annual and Quarterly reports come in (Sale, Pretax Income, Tax, and EPS). The input would be much easier and user friendly to coincide with the Annual and Quarterly Reports.

Another thing I would like to see changed is the reports that would follow the Annual and Quarterly Reports to have the same order as the Company Reports. Where you List Sale, Pretax Income, Tax, and EPS in that order. The reports have no consistency to them. The Portfolio Review Report are EPS, Sales, Pre-Tax Profit, TTM EPS and the Defense Report is Sale, Pre-Tax Profit, EPS. The Quarterly Trend report is EPS, Pre-Tax Profit, Sales. It is a little confusing when you go from one report to another.

Hi,

I can't necessarily speak to re-ordering the existing reports, but I do want to call out on the Quarterly Data screen. If you aren't seeing the columns for Pretax profit, and Tax when entering data, that might be due to a screen setting on the computer. I would suggest to try the steps on our FAQ page at:(http://www.iclub.com/faq/index.php?solution_id=1287).

Hi Sean, No luck with the link you provided. Must be in the latest Toolkit Upgrade.

Hi,
I'm attaching a screen shot here of the data window from my copy of Toolkit 6.5.0 , which is the latest version. If the quarterly data tab in your copy doesn't look like this, I would really strongly suspect that it's due to the screen setting issue I mentioned the other day.

Hi Sean,
Thanks, but nothing works. Tried different screen settings but nothing works. Maybe a patch upgrade to the software might fix this.

Hi,

If you have the chance to make a screenshot, and post it, I would be *really* interested to see what you're seeing.

I would be glad to but I need some help in doing that. I tried to screenshoot and paste it to word then copy and paste it to Stockcenteral but it will not paste. Can you give me some help on that.

I took what's probably a pretty round-about way, where I ended up saving the picture to dropbox, and then getting a http:// type of link out of it.

I think the easier way would be to put the image into a Word file, the way you described, but instead of trying to copy/paste it into the window, save the Word file on the computer. Once it's saved, use the paperclip icon to attach a file. It might not show the image on the page, but I should be able to download the Word file to my computer, and take a look at it that way.

I saved the file to Word but I don't see a paperclip. Maybe you could give me a little more detail or I could send you an email if I had your email address. I have a paperclip attachment in Outlook. My email is ddebruhl@charter.net

I tried to bring up Toolkit6 this weekend and it said that I needed to open it with Toolkit6 server so I did and to my surprise I now have the Data feed with all of the quarterly tabs. Sales, EPS, PTP, and TAX$. Thanks Toolkit for the upgrade.

In Preferences > Stock Study, make sure that the box for "Enable Pre-Tax Profit and Tax Entry in Quarterly Data Screen..." is checked. Then you can enter those items on the Quarterly Data screen.
