This convention is BetterInvesting's premier educational event and a valuable opportunity for learning and networking you won't want to miss.

Those attending BINC will get a chance to hear firsthand from top investing experts and also meet with representatives of prospective companies for investment. This is a rare chance to meet with the CEOs and other executives of companies that could form part of your future portfolio.

In the keynote speeches you will hear the latest on economic and industry developments from top thinkers on investing strategy and policy. Ron Muhlenkamp, founder of the independent investing firm Muhlenkamp & Company, Inc., will share fresh insights including the significance of natural gas in investing. Searching for ADRs
Saying Bonjour to a New MyStockProspector.com Feature

The ever-industrious minds behind MyStockProspector.com have made it more convenient for you to study — or not study — foreign stocks. You can now use the new ADR criteria to include or exclude American Depositary Receipts from your searches on MyStockProspector.com. ADRs are bundles of stocks that trade on a U.S. exchange but represent shares of non-U.S. companies. You may wish to avoid ADRs in your searches or include them to help diversify your portfolio internationally. To use this feature, go to the Other category and add ADR to the criteria builder. Then select True or False, depending on whether you wish to include or exclude ADRs from your search.

Toolkit 6 Tip: Understanding "Price Dividend Will Support"
An Option for Classic Dividend Stocks

Investors using our Toolkit 6 analysis tool have showed interest in learning more about the Price Dividend Will Support function and what it means. In the StockCentral Community Forum, Sean Pulrang, our in-house expert, explains: "This feature is meant to select a potential future low price for the stock. The idea is that if the stock's yield approaches historically high levels, investors who seek income will be more interested in the company and thus prevent the stock from dropping past a certain low price (the lower the price, the higher the yield as long as the company doesn't cut the dividend). Price Dividend Will Support is only relevant for high yielding stocks and can be highly overstated for a company that only recently started paying a dividend." Learn more about this, and see an example of this phenomenon involving Apple stock in StockCentral Community Forums.

Ratio Ruminations for Toolkit

We're in this together. Talk to us, ask us questions, and tell us what you're thinking. The StockCentral Community forum is a valuable resource for investors exchanging information about stocks and investing strategies. And our own members sometimes come up with great suggestions to help us improve our products and strategies. A member this month noted that Ratio Analyzer in Toolkit 6 is useful for a snapshot look at one quarter. But what if it displayed data in a different way for analysis? StockCentral Founder Doug Gerlach appreciates all suggestions and weighs them for consideration for future updates. Interact with us in the StockCentral Community Forum.

TODAY'S ENTIRELY RELEVANT QUOTATION

"This year has seen an inordinate scarcity of big moves in the stock market, and CNBC is paying the price. Sound effects, glad-handing the hedgies and battling it out, Family Feud-style, with a gang of talking heads is a whole let less interesting when markets are in snooze mode. Hence, CNBC's ratings haven't been this low in 20 years."
Shawn Langlois, MarketWatch, Aug. 30
