With a couple of recent updates to Toolkit, and another one possibly coming soon, these set of steps should prove helpful:

The most common reason for the "unable to launch toolkit, please launch tollkitserver" is that the dpi setting on Windows was set higher than 96dpi, and the Done button to finish the update did not appear. Please check below, and take the steps for your particular copy of Windows to see how to check this setting, and change it if need be.

Checking DPI settings in Windows 7

1. Right-click any open space on the desktop, and choose PERSONALIZE
2. Near the bottom left-hand corner of the Personalize window, select DISPLAY
3. On the main part of the Display page, you should see three options (Smaller, Medium, Larger). If Smaller is already selected, then close the control panel, and skip to Step 7.
4. On main part of the Display page, click to select Smaller - 100% (default)
5. Windows will usually ask you to log out or re-start at this point. If it does not, click APPLY
6. If windows tells you that you need to either log out, or restart please do so; if not, close any open windows, and proceed to the next step.
7. Go to START > COMPUTER (or MY COMPUTER) > C: > PROGRAM FILES (or Program Files x86) > ICLUBcentral > Toolkit6.
8. Double-click on Toolkit6Updater. This should start the update process. If the update finishes, click the Done button, and Toolkit will start as normal.
9. Assuming Toolkit opens at this point, then you'll be able to open it as normal next time.

If things are looking a little small on the screen, one thing you can do the right-click on the desktop, choose View, and then choose a larger size icon.

Checking DPI settings in Windows Vista

1. Right-click any open space on the desktop, and choose PERSONALIZE then ADJUST FONT SIZE (on the left hand side of the new window)
2. This will open a new window; Any dpi setting that Vista has used in the past will show up here as a selectable button.
3. If the DPI setting is already at 96, then close the control panel, and skip to Step 6
4. If the DPI is not set to 96, click on the button next to Default Mode (96 DPI) and click OK.
5. Restart the computer.
6. Go to START > COMPUTER (or MY COMPUTER) > C: > PROGRAM FILES (or Program Files x86) > ICLUBcentral > Toolkit6.
7. Double-click on Toolkit6Updater. This should start the update process. If the update finishes, click the Done button, and Toolkit will start as normal.
8. Assuming Toolkit opens at this point, then you'll be able to open it as normal next time.

As with the Windows 7, you can adjust the size of the icons on the desktop by doing a right-click, choosing View, and selecting a bigger size.

Checking DPI settings in Windows 2000 and XP

1. Go to START > CONTROL PANEL > DISPLAY >SETTINGS > ADVANCED.
2. If the DPI setting is already at 96 (also called Normal), then close the control panel, and skip to Step 7.
3. If the DPI is not set to 96, please do so.
4. Click OK.
5. Click OK again.
6. Restart the computer.

Icon size can be changed in Windows XP, but it takes a few extra steps, as follows:
1. Right Click Desktop, then choose “Properties”
2. In the Properties Window click on the “Appearance Tab” at the top.
3. In the Appearance Window click on the button called “Advanced”
4. In the Advanced Appearance Window choose “Item:” from the drop down list and choose “Icon” and you can choose desired Icon size. The default in most cases will be 32. While you can set the number to anything you want, the way Windows is set up, you'll generally want to go to 40, 48, or 56.
5. Click OK, and then Apply to have Windows adjust the size of the icons.
6. A nice feature here is that if you want to adjust the size up or down, you can repeat steps 3- 5 to test different sizes.

I continue to receive the start-up error after loading the recent Toolkit 6 patch (it was working fine up to that point). I am on Windows 7. I did change the DPI to "small" and continue to have the same launch error. The instructions have a reference to a "section in this email on security software" but no such section exists.

My apologies, I must have been on a bit of autopilot when I was listing out the sections. It should read that if the setting is already at the smaller size, you should close the control panel, and continue to the next step. I'll see if I can go back and edit that to avoid any future confusion.
