Lately, when I update the current price in SOME SSG's (not all), I get a current price of something like 505,543,800.00 which also skews the PE's, relative values, PEG ratio, etc ('ya think?). The 52-wk high and 52-wk low price are also incorrect but not unreasonable numbers. For example, I just downloaded data on Goldman Sachs GS and the current price downloaded as 505,544,900.00, the 52-wk high price was 129.50 (incorrect), the 52-wk low was 9.126 (very incorrect), the current PE ratio was 49,660,600.00, etc. You get my point.

When I click on the update price icon again, it corrects the problem and downloads the correct current price and correct 52-wk high/low prices. Not a big deal, just a second click of the mouse, but any thoughts as to why this is happening? Why in some SSG's but not others? I am using Toolkit 6, v. 6.4.2 with Windows XP.

Thanks!  M Walsh

I have been experiencing the same issue. It affects the whole protfolio when I do a portfolio price update.

Toolkit 6 gets its prices from Yahoo! Finance, and they've been having issues with their CSV-file quote downloads for the last week or two. If you repeat the Update Prices function, the correct prices will come in eventually.

It did start a couple of weeks ago. Quite thrilling though the first time the current price lists as $505K. Thanks.

We recently updated Toolkit 6 to allow users to update prices from our own server. In Preferences, you can select whether to use Yahoo! Finance or ICLUBcentral for the share price updates. One note: our price database only includes daily closing prices, not intraday prices, and only includes U.S. companies. But it does provide some redundancy if there are problems with Yahoo! in the future.
