It seems from my experience that I am only able to save 3 screen criteria under "User Defined Screens using the Stock Central screener tool.

Is this correct?

No, I don't think this is a limitation. I just saved a new screen and it was my 7th User Defined screen.

I am starting with the Pre-Defined Screens that are available.

I am then adding certain parameters: minimum % sales, ROE & Pre-Tax Profit % of Sales minimum, and most importantly, Dividend minimum. To name a few.

For example, I tried adding the above mentioned screening paramaters to the "pre-defined" Healthcare Quality Stocks screen.

I ran the screen and got a handful of results. So, I tried to save that screen as "Healthcare Quality Stocks w Dividend.

After I hit the "Save" button, a whole bunch of screening paramaters (all industry related) appearded as a header above the web-page header.

I tried saving the edited "pre-defined" screen.

I then checked to see if it had been saved under "user defined screens".

The edited "pre-defined screen" was not saved.

Maybe if you try copying the steps that I took, you might encounter the same problem.

FYI: I edited the two previous "pre-defined " screens in a similar fashion to what I described above. I was able to save those "pre-defined" screen into the "user defined" screen.

Please advise.

Doug:

I was able to "Save" all the other "pre-defined" screens (editing them for dividends) under "user-defined".

So, it seems like the only "pre-defined" screen that I am having problems (after editing for dividends, growth rates, Take Stock ratings, etc.) saving is the Healthcare Qualtiy Co's.

Hope this helps.

Also, if I open up a "user defined" screen - would I be able to "refresh" the screen by hitting the "edit screen" hyperlink - which is to the left of the "save screen as" button?

Thanks
Nick

and then run the "user defined" screen again  - without changing any of the screening paramaters that I originally chose?

We have a fix coming in the next day or so. It was actually a problem with the number and length of the criteria in the screen you were trying to save.

You can refresh a screen using the browser refresh button or F5, but it shouldn't really be necessary -- When you save a screen you save the criteria, NOT the results, so it "refreshes" the screen each time you open it. Is that what you were getting at?

Thanks.
