BULLISH ON STOCK MARKET EDITION
6 MARCH 2009

OBAMA BULLISH ON STOCK MARKET
President Calls for Americans to Buy, Buy, Buy!

This reporter thought she'd heard everything: Multi-gazillion dollar stimulus packages, company bailouts and mortgage modification programs. Now, our newly-inaugurated President -- yet to emerge from the ceremonial First 100 Days in Office -- is calling for Americans to invest in the stock market for the long haul. "Profit and earning ratios are starting to get to the point where buying stocks is a potentially good deal if you've got a long-term perspective on it," he said. This courageous utterance came as the Dow Jones Industrial Average continued its downward spiral, closing below the psychological 7,000 mark to its lowest level in a dozen years.

Despite this reporter's initial skepticism, she notes that the President's words packed a powerful enough punch to lift the DJIA nearly 150 points the very next day. At the close, this stock market barometer even flirted with 7,000 before settling just shy. Might there be a method to this madness?

This reporter feels compelled to point out that the method -- this formula, if she may -- is none other than the very one that long-term, fundamental investors (read: brilliant StockCentral members) have been practicing for years. Perhaps the mania for long-term investing will catch on with the public at large. If that be the case, then this reporter declares, triumphantly: Well done, President Obama.

On to today's headlines...

SEINBERG WINED, BUT NOT DINED
Secrets of Options Unveiled Over the Finest Merlot

The term cheap wine has been redefined. Pursuing a hot tip that Options Guru Saul Seinberg could be coaxed to pour out his heart on the intricacies of options, this reporter uncorked a bottle of none other than Beringer Bancroft Ranch Merlot, circa 1997, poured two glasses, then held her breath as Master Seinberg first swished, sniffed, and then, after nodding his approval, swigged.

Quickly taken in by the scintillating vanilla, lavender, and licorice this Napa Valley favorite boasts, Saul revealed that he almost never buys or sells options at the market, and doesn't trade options in the first hour or so after the open. He further divulged the logic behind why he is "quite content to miss an opportunity..." Though this reporter would be remiss should she fail to confirm rumors that Merlot set her back the better part of a Ben Franklin, she declares that Saul's insights would have been cheap at thrice the price

If, after a thorough and diligent search of your well-stocked wine cellar, you find to your chagrin that you have imbibed your last bottle of Beringer Bancroft Ranch Merlot, not to worry. Though the banter of his online workshop, Using Options for Conservative Investors, has officially drawn to a close, his pearls of wisdom have been captured on the StockCentral forum. There, at your leisure, you are encouraged to submerge yourself in Saul's sage advice. But be forewarned that by its very compelling nature, you may find yourself losing all sense of time and space. If, after your initial perusal, you find that you are indeed thirsting for more, pack your Merlot and plan to join Saul at InvestEd 2009 in Salt Lake City, August 7- 9, where, as an encore, he will explore complex option strategies.

THIS PROSPECT IS NOT OPTIONAL
StockCentral Members Find Gold In Them Hills!

Your allegiant reporter would not only deem herself downright gluttonous, but would have trouble looking herself in the mirror should she fail in her occupational duty to report a discovery unlike any she's seen since the days of Sutter's Hill, better known as the Gold Rush of '49. ICLUBcentral's Stock Prospector -- known throughout the hills and across the prairie for its variegated history of assisting long-term fundamental investors in uncovering quality stocks - now allows investors to utilize high-quality Morningstar Data from StockCentral, and to search for stocks using the Take Stock Quality Rating. TODAY'S ENTIRELY RELEVANT QUOTATION

"You know, it (the stock market) bobs up and down day to day.
And if you spend all your time worrying about that,
then you're probably going to get the long-term strategy wrong. "

-President Barack Obama
