On Saturday I found the December issue of Investor Advisory Service on
my doorstep.  It seems to be a watershed issue, thicker than most, and I read
through it carefully.  It underscored that its methodology tended to favor services
and medical stocks with greater stability in this market, and it made me regret
a little my current overweighting in financial stocks (some bought at good times, some at bad times).

style='font-size:10.0pt;color:black'>There seemed to be a greater than usual
number of stocks that IAS elected to discontinue based on concerns about future
performance.  Fortunately, I did not own any of these.  I like that the IAS
analysts regularly listen in on the quarterly earnings calls, as I believe that
much is communicated via management's tone of voice and the way they respond to
challenging questions.  I try to listen in on the calls for the stocks in my portfolio, but am not able to consistently.

style='font-size:10.0pt;color:black'>Based on the IAS commentary, I am
performing stock studies on Abbott Labs (ABT), Aflac (AFL), Coach (COH), J2
Global Communications (JCOM), O'Reily Automotive (ORLY), Praxair (PX), Sandisk
(SNDK), Waters (WAT), Factset (FDS), and Pharmaceutical Product Development
(PPDI), and will upload these stock studies to the StockCentral board automatically from Toolkit, so that those interested can comment.

style='font-size:10.0pt;color:black'>I would be interested in any of your
thoughts on these stocks, and/or general comments on the themes in the December IAS issue.

I follow or have a opinion on a few.  COH seems to have a hard time selling expensive purses in this environment.   ORLY if Detroit is not selling new cars then the old cars need parts to run - I'm a buyer.  SNDK has a great product but their market timing sucks. FDS will be a winner given enough time.  Other stocks mentioned I have no comment in this environment.
