Hi,

I'm running the latest version of TK6, version 6.0.2 according to the About box. It's a registered copy, not just the demo. The following oddity occurs with an existing stock library that was created with TK5. I copied & renamed the TK5 library, and told TK6 to open it. I did not tell TK6 to copy it for me.

The problem is with the first page of an SSG for a stock already in the library. The particular SSG I'm looking at, when I open it, has 10 years plus 2 quarters of data, with the first 5 years crossed out. The front page says historical sales growth was 12.2 %, and historical EPS growth  23.9%.

I open the graph by clicking in it. The Visual Analysis shows the same percentages at first. I open the Historical Growth Rate dialog, then click its Ok button. The percentages displayed in the Visual Analysis change when the Historical Growth dialog closes. Historical Sales Growth is now 23.9% and Historical EPS is 31.4%.

These new percentages agree with what TK5 reports for the same SSG. They also  seem to be correct when one looks at the growth rate lines in the graph.

Is this a bug, or was I not supposed to tell TK6 to open a TK5 library?

Thanks.

StockCentral support was very helpful. They confirmed that this is a known bug in TK6. It will be fixed in a future release.
