Finally got TK5 running.  Had to change my everyday login XP Pro account from "Limited" to "Power User".

Now I've noticed that the program does not seem to sense a " non-standard " screen resolution like 1920x1200 and make adjustments for items drawn on the program's screens.  Some fields on the right edge are completely cut off.

I've searched this forum for the words "resolution", "computer monitor", "pixel" but have not found any hits.

Please see attached screen capture.

Are there plans to rewrite TK5 to be more "Windows complaint"?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

John

That's a known design limitation in Toolkit.  It displays properly only on 96 dpi screens (probably the only kind there were on Windows PCs when TK5 was designed).  Are you using "Large Fonts"?  If so, that's the problem.

You can read a bit more about this at the following URL (go back to message #1 of you want to read the entire thread) ...
