A critical error has occurred.
Failed to load viewstate. The control tree into which viewstate is being loaded must match the control tree that was used to save viewstate during the previous request. For example, when adding controls dynamically, the controls added during a post-back must match the type and position of the controls added during the initial request.

This message occurred when I was using the advanced search feature.  I scrolled to view a company from the list provided and then went back to the list to view another and that's when the message came across the top of the Take Stock page.  I then would have to go back and click the advanced search button again to access the lists of companies to choose from.

Don't really know what the message means, but it was not catastrophic,  just a bit annoying,

Jean

Thank you for the report, Jean.

For my information, did some time pass between generating this list of companies and clicking?

I just was trying to duplicate the problem.  It occurs when I look at one industry group, drug stores for example and after looking fairly rapidly at several individual companies, I then go  to the drop down list of industries and choose another industry . That's when the message appears.  It doesn't always happen every time I switch from one industry to another, but I never was waiting a longish while before I moved to another industry.  Hope that helps....
