I am subscriber to NAIC (www.betterinvesting.org) S&P Compustat Xpressfeed data service. This subscription allows me to investigate stocks in the North America's exchanges. This investigation is done via the SSG (Stock Selection Guide) .
But I live in Europe and I would like to also have access to European stock data in the same type of format; this means that the database should be able to load the Research Insight-Global Database (from S&P) data into the SSG as I do today with the North America’s stocks data.
My point is: Would StockCentral consider to provide this service at any time? I am prepared (and I assume a lot more people) to pay a much bigger fee for this type of service.
Does anybody in your knowledge provide this service today?
Regards
Raimundo

Hi Raimundo,
I don't know of any data provider that provides European stock data in SSG file format. TMK, European companies are not held to the same reporting/accounting standards as those which are traded publicly in the US. Any European company that wants to participate in the US market can do so using ADRs (American Depository Receipts), in which case they are held to the same standards as other US traded stocks for reporting (although they may only report once per six months e.g. CEO).
We have no immediate plans to investigate or research making SSG-style analysis tools and data for the European exchanges. That could of course change were the proper business-case made, but for now we are focused on our current offerings.
Thanks for using StockCentral, we hope you enjoy it and we look forward to more of your feedback!

Below is the list of ADRs from AAII. MI has info on about 15 of them... most of which are not particularly interesting.
Maybe if StockCentral had info on this list it could be a start.
ACGY ACH ASX BBD BBV BHP BP BRG BTI BVN CEO CGV CIB CXP DT E ELP FRO GGB GMK HBC ILOG IVZ JOBS KTC MITSY MXIC NHY NJ NOK PBR PT PTR PZE RTP RTRSY SAP SKM SSL STO TDK TKC TMB TOT TS TSP UMC VCP YPF

I checked a few (not all) of the companies on the list, and every one I checked is in our database. You can find information about them on our Data page, and you can analyze them with Take Stock. This should be true for all ADRs. |

Hi,
I've compiled an excel spreadsheet of global DR's on various exchanges, you can download it here. From it I extracted a list of all mobile communications DR co's on the NYSE and the NASDAQ, then started, on Sept. 4, tracking a portfolio of all of them (relatively equally proportioned). Here is a screenshot of it (check out KONG today, :O, too bad its paper!) Most of these wouldn't qualify for further analysis based upon fundamental analysis and most are quite young, thus present significant risks. Thought it might be interesting though for folks considering, based on their objectives, emerging markets with more risk.
