I got error " A critical error has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object." I must have done something awful.

Not really. If you got that message when you clicked the edit profile button from one of that pages that shows only some of the forums (i.e. anywhere except the "all forums" page), that is a known error. I hope that the developers will fix it soon. Thanks for the report, though ... |

Joe, as of today 9/25, that 'Critical Error' still shows up on Edit Profile. Of course the critical error might be the enlarged photo of me, that I would just as soon not have there. The postage stamp size doesn't show all the wrinkles as badly  Gene
P.S. It still would be nice to view everyone's profile, what is the reason for having it otherwise?

The "critical error" occurred only when you were on a sub-forum page. So, I disabled the link.
You can edit you profile from the "all forums" page.
I'll try turning on the ability to view profiles ... |
