I recommend that we as a community create our own Buy List for the benefit of us all. Unfortunately the online version of Take Stock cannot do a global search of the database to display all those stocks with a QI of 8 or above, or a list of the ones selling below the Buy price. I took a list of 50 Quality Growth companies and ran them through Take Stock Online and it took me about 90 minutes of work and it only yielded LLL and a few others from the list. I was frankly surprised that companies like JNJ did not rate as a quality company. Lowes, Home Depot, also hit the bell.

My point is that once we find a company that hits the bell and meets all the prerequisites, we should add it to our collective Master List of Buy candidates. That way we all share in the work

Hopefully someone out there will agree and as we each find a company we can add it to our master list.

Here are 10 that look pretty good on quality: SBUX, LOW, POOL, CTSH, QSII, UNH, NVR, COH, EWBC, and MCO.

Of course things change and any high quality list will change over time.

It seems you may desire one of the desktop versions of Take Stock in which you can include many stocks and obtain up to date numbers quite quickly.  I follow several hundred and identifying the top ones is quite easy and takes only a short time.  I compiled the above list from the original  Take $tock program that uses the Technamental  approach Ellis mentioned earlier.

I also believe subscribers also receive from IClub a monthly list of top quality rated stocks  that seems to be what you are suggesting as a master list.

I ran those recommendations through the program. The only candidate close to hitting the bell is UNH - QI is 10; price is $50 and buy below $48. The rest are so far above the buy price it will be a while before they fall within the buy range.

Check LEN, GPN, VAR, WFMI, WMT and WAG. All may be buys.
