Joe, There are some confusing hierarchies that may be easilty addressed. On the top line you have Home, Community, Data, Manifesto. When you put your mouse on Community -->stocks by ticker, investing Central Square But really what you have is Community --> Forums (this figures in the terminology extensively somehow, but is not in the above choices) This the reappears as a navigation aid when you select a forum: as in Forums > Investing > The ClubhouseWhich really could have been Community >investing > the Clubhouse or else change the top navigation line to Home, Forums, Data, Manifesto But then you have a second navigation aid in Orange  community stocks by tickera
This navigation aid only shows up at the top when you use the drop down menu to enter a section. If you go to Forums this navigation aid does not change.
So my suggestion:
a) Either use Forums or use Community. Probably the sw is so entertwined with the word Forum that you may not have a choice here.
b) Lose one of the two navgiation aids. Preferably the one in orange.

Next suggestion grouping of utilities and Forums.
Right now you have:

a) Everything from "Unanswered" to "Search" are all really Utilities. So keep Utilities grouped logically to the right. Lose Forums in that group. b) One alternative to the humongous forums list which potentially may grow, is to have only the forum selected show up. So you have ONLY Central square show up if you select central square on top. Suggestion to show similar position. Currently hierarchy of forums is lost. Stocks by Ticker: a b c d

I must agree with the above. The rest of it I can't abide by.

This time I clicked on "active topics" and got:
A critical error has occurred.
Conversion from string "8/22/2006 7:00:28 PM" to type 'Date' is not valid.

Sorry about the confusing format. I was not aware of the embedded javascript.
Were you able to figure out what I suggesting with respect to
a) Navigaiton guide, and
b) organizaiton of utility links.

Ok. You have 2 Navigation aids
>community >central square
and
>Forums >Cental square
as an example.
Why not lose one of them. Why have both?
I would recommend losing the >community
