Erik,

That method of file distribution was available only for some early beta versions of the data.  We've now moved to a format where the individual files are available from download by using the box/button on the data page.  And, if you happen to use Investor's Toolkit 5, you can configure that program to download the files automatically.

Is there anyway to directly download a SSG by a direct URL? I would like to perform a batch download on many tickers and not have to enter them in one at a time. Unfortunately I do not have TK5.

Erik,

No, there isn't an easy way to download mulitple tickers. While we might consider doing this in the future, your best bet now is to upgrade to Toolkit 5.

I see where REIT's are now included in the database.   Will there also be any info on data here? Is it straight EPS? FFO's or AFFO's? I haven't decided on forums to request at this point.

Right now, the REIT data uses straight EPS. At some point we may change that, and in the very least I would like to see us add FFO to the data report.

When I try to download Allied Capital (ALD) I receive the error message, "File appears to be an invalid format." Then Toolkit crashes and closes. All other stocks are downloading fine.

Thanks for the report, Lowell.

The file for ALD is not in our database.  I've filed a bug report to find out why ...

And the answer is ... ALD is a closed end fund. We are not including closed end funds in the StockCentral data feed.
