- Performance - 7-5-2023.pdf (53kb) downloaded 3 time(s).

If I did correctly attach a PDF of the Performanced Report for a Portfolio, then:

The PDF shows the the 1/1/2020 to 7/5/2023 return for Scott Trust as 4.89%.

It also shows the Lifetime to Date for 1/1/2020 to 7/5/2023 as 28.08%.

I used the brokerage statements and recorded each transaction as to date and amount and the result matches perfectly.

What am I missing? I expected the same returns for the same transactions and time period.

Thanks
Harvey

Hello,

Thank you for posting this. I have asked our engineering folks to take a look at the report. As soon as I have more to go on, I will post another reply.

Hello,

Our engineering folks have done some work on the report, and asked me to check if you could check whether the report looks OK now.

Thank you,

The report works perfectly now.
My thanks to the engineering folks and you.

Harvey

By the way is my other portfolio report change (Suggestions: July 5) on the To Do list of the engineering folks?

"For the advanced report for performance in the Stock Central Portfolio:

Presently only one Portfolio may be selected for the report.

Please add the option to Select All Portfolios.

Just like the for the Valuation Report and other advance reports.

The Help instructions indicate this actually a present feature:

From Portfolio Reports help:

"The Performance Report is one example of an Advanced Report. It calculates a benchmarked performance figure for an entire portfolio or group of portfolios, comparing the cash flows of your selected portfolios to a similar set of hypothetical cash flows in a index (as represented by a low-cost index fund)."

Yes, your other request for the ability to include multiple portfolios in the Performance report is still on the table. It was brought up again at our last staff meeting. It is not forgotten.
Tax season has started for us so other issues may take a bit more time.
