A new feature was added to myICLUB in October. The feature is Reconcile accounts. Using this feature will make it easier to reconcile your cash account balances in the accounting records in myICLUB with your financial institution statements.
The link to start the reconcile process is located in the Wizards section on the main accounting page of myICLUB. A second link is located in the Cash Accounts section on this same page. The link in the Cash Accounts area is not visible unless you click the more drop-down in the left navigation column or click the bold Cash Accounts text.
The first time the reconcile process is used, you do not need to reconcile from the beginning of the club records. The process assumes you reconciled your books up to the end of the last full year so the starting point will be the beginning of the current year. If desired, you can enter a different start date. Please note, you do need to select a cash account to reconcile. If you have multiple cash accounts, each is reconciled separately.
I know of multiple clubs that added an end of month valuation to make reconciling their records easier. Now reconciling can be done easily without the added valuation. Another benefit of the reconcile process- an easier method to spot errors before they become bigger problems.
