The cannabis companies Tilray and Aphria merged effective 5/3/2021. According to the form PRE14A filed with the SEC an February 19, 2021, Aphria shareholders will NOT recognize gain or loss on this transaction. It is a non-taxable event. Below is a link to a PDF document with details on how to enter this merger into the ICLUBcentral accounting software.
